The 12th biggest city in Florida State, Hollywood, is situated within the county of Broward. Based on the latest 2010 Census, Hollywood had a population of 140,768. Hollywood was established in the year 1925 and the area rapidly grew in the 1950s and during the 1960s. The visionary planner, Joseph Wesley Young was the one who established the city of Hollywood initially in the start of the 1920s.
